Island Party is our main outreach to the campus of North Texas each year. The event is held during the spring semester in April at Kerr Beach. There is free food, live bands, free drinks (Monster and Chicken Express Sweet Tea), free shirts, volleyball, football, and ultimate frisbee. While these things are the main attraction of the evening, they aren't close to being the purpose.
Island Party exists to spread the gospel.
A speaker is present every year to share a message of our redemption and salvation through faith in Jesus Christ. We believe that Jesus was the Son of God, He came to earth and became man, led a sinless life, was persecuted, died for our sins, and rose from the dead three days later to ascend to heaven and sit at the right hand of God, the Father Almighty. In His death and resurrection we are reconciled for our sins. This is the gospel.
Island Party exists to spread the gospel.
